Mani2 is a group of five musicians of which each member has a unique way of playing his instrument. A complete feeling of rock overwhelms you! Mani2 plays its music as a tribute to all the great legendary bands that will never disappear or will be forgotten.
Mani2 plays self written songs as well as covers. The use of the didgeridoo in some songs is always a crowd puller. The band has done a lot of shows, under which a show in 'de Lantaarn' (Hellendoorn, NL) and Festival Rocksenbarge Open Air (Haaksbergen, NL). The music Mani2 plays is popular among a great public: Older people as well as young people come to the shows.
Mani2 has released three CD's. The first CD, Goddess of the Sky, was released in 1998. With the success of this album Mani2 was able to present itself to a wider

audience. Radio interviews and shows followed. In the fall of 2000 the second CD, Live from the Sky, was released and in February 2002 the third CD followed: Revelation. At the moment Mani2 just recordered a new demo and is working on new songs.
In the early days Mani2 was called Manitou. In the end of 2004 Manitou decided to change the name into Mani2. In January 2005 Mani2 made a fresh start with a new bass player.
The amount of fans is growing after each show. People think the band is innovative, fresh, retro with new elements and one finds the band has its own sound.
The name Manitou (Mani2) comes originally from the North American Indians. It means all-embracing.
